Spring Boards is NFTY-NEL's penultimate event of the 2015-2016 year!

At this summit of NFTY-NEL's current and future leaders, we will thoughtfully elect the 2016-2017 Regional Board. New for this year, Spring Boards will be open to anyone in Grades 9-12. Each Temple Youth Group will still have 3 delegate votes, but anybody is welcome to join this meeting. The traditional components of the event, like speeches, meet the candidate sessions, and asefah (General Board Meeting) will take place, as well as some unique programming.

This event is open to any Jewish teen in grades 9 to 12 who is interested in a Reform Jewish experience.

  • Adjustments will be made at check-out for Canadian citizens to reflect the current currency fluctuations
  • Travel is charged separately for our events. Fee: $75

Buses from Cleveland, Buffalo and Rochester. Additional travel will be available for teens from Ottawa..

Participants and their families will receive a confirmation email prior to the event with additional information. Be sure to bring a sleeping bag, pillow and towel to use at your host's home on Friday night! Also remember that Friday evening through Saturday afternoon we'll be at a local congregation, so be sure to bring appropriate attire for Shabbat services. 

If you need to cancel, the registration fees you paid will be refunded as follows:

  • Through February 12, 2016 – 90% of the registration fees paid
  • Through February 19, 2016 – 75% of the registration fees paid
  • Through February 26, 2016 – 50% of the registration fees paid

After February 26, 2016 we will not be able to issue any refunds for cancellation. If you have a documented medical emergency and must cancel after February 26, 2016 you will be refunded 75% of the registration fees you paid.

Please allow up to six weeks after the conclusion of the event for your refund to be processed. All cancellation requests must be in writing. We will accept cancellations by email to We’re sorry, but we cannot accept cancellations over the phone.
